Romería de Majanicho

The Majanicho pilgrimage, part of the Festivities in honor of La Virgen del Pino, draws numerous pilgrims from across the municipality, especially from Lajares, El Cotillo, and Corralejo. Some arrive in decorated carts, while others prefer to walk the path, driven by devotion and the fulfillment of promises. After a journey of approximately two hours, everyone gathers at the coast to join the procession and present their prayers for health and work to the Virgin. As the sun sets, the carts advance cheerfully, filled with laughter, songs, and celebrations, while the walkers continue their journey in an atmosphere of fervor and tradition, honoring their promises and enjoying the festive spirit that envelops this beloved pilgrimage.
