Miguel Poveda Concert

"Miguel Poveda will give a concert in Fuerteventura on July 16, where he will review some of his most representative songs and will present his latest album 'Diverso'.

Considered the most important voice of his generation, his charisma, commitment and passion that pours into a stage turn his concerts into a unique experience of love for art and emotion. The flamenco of this century cannot be understood without Miguel Poveda. His spectacular timbre and complaint shakes the most deeply rooted foundations of flamenco to conform to his voice and form notes that wrap the songs of yesterday and today, giving a unique sense to the spectacular ability to interpret each song or poem. Miguel Poveda’s voice is the perfect definition of feeling, full of nuances, risky in its intonation and strong in its restraint.

With ""Diverso"", Miguel Poveda proposes a musical journey in which he creates bridges between the places he has traveled throughout his musical career. Different part of the traditional classical flamenco going to other places like the Andalusian song, the tango or the Mexican popular song and that according to the artist himself ""it is a palette of discords that was in me and that I need to show"". The artist has taken the beauty of the planet as a symbol of the disc, in which he invites to reflect on the care of it confessing that ""I wanted to reinforce my social commitment with the sole and humble intention of creating awareness for the new generations, from the most absolute love to the diversity of our planet""."

Con “Diverso”, Miguel Poveda propone un viaje musical en el que crea puentes entre los lugares que ha transitado a lo largo de su carrera musical. Diverso parte del flamenco tradicional clásico acudiendo a otros lugares como la canción andaluza, el tango o la canción popular mexicana y que según ha manifestado el propio artista "es una paleta decolores que estaba en mí y que necesito mostrar". El artista ha tomado la belleza del planeta como símbolo del disco, en el que invita a reflexionar sobre el cuidado del mismo confesando que “he querido reforzar mi compromiso social con la única y humilde intención de crear conciencia a las nuevas generaciones, desde el amor más absoluto a la diversidad de nuestro planeta”.
