MasDanza

The International Contemporary Dance Festival of the Canary Islands, Masdanza, returns to Fuerteventura, established as a key platform for new creations and a benchmark on the international scene. This edition features a selection of five companies from Germany, France, Cyprus, China, and Italy. From its origins as a local festival, Masdanza has grown in prestige, earning recognition from both the public and specialized critics. Founded in 1996 by choreographer Natalia Medina, the festival received the EFFE Quality Label in 2019 and has been nominated for Best European Dance Festival.
