Les Misérables

The Insular Auditorium of Fuerteventura presents "Les Misérables," an adaptation of the renowned work by Victor Hugo. The plot follows Jean Valjean, who, after serving nearly twenty years in prison for stealing food for his family, faces social marginalization that forces him to continue stealing. "Les Misérables" is a masterpiece of world literature, written in 1862, which condemns poverty and injustice while exploring ethics and human solidarity. Adapted into film and theater numerous times, it is the basis of the famous musical of the same name.
