Chilegua Trail

Fuerteventura hosts the Chilegua Trail, a challenging mountain event featuring various courses for all levels. The main race covers 25.3 kilometers with a 1000-meter positive elevation gain, circling the Areguía mountain through rocky paths and facing the sun and wind, while exploring the historic Huertas de Chilegua. Additionally, there is an 11-kilometer route with over 400 meters of elevation gain, offering views of the northern coast from Cuchillo de Cuevas Labradas. For younger participants or those seeking a lighter challenge, there is a 1 to 5-kilometer section in the Valle de La Pared, tailored to different ages and abilities.
