Carles Marigó in concert

The Contemporary Festival presents in Fuerteventura the concert "Breaking Bach," an innovative project by musician Carles Marigó (piano) with live video production by Alex Tentor. This event combines the classical works of Johann Sebastian Bach with the most advanced contemporary creations, featuring compositions by Canarian musicians Daniel Roca, Laura Vega, and Manuel Bonino, as well as Marigó himself and Joan Magrané. The program explores the tensions of time in music, playing with the relationship between linear and significant time, and how music can reflect these dualities. Additionally, the concert incorporates an artificial intelligence component, utilizing software developed in 2022 to explore the intersection of tradition and technology in musical creation.
